Art Director is responsible for the development, design and execution of creative concepts for leading-edge Marketing and Web solutions. He/she also plays the Creative role and collaborates with developers, IA, copywriter and content strategists as a part of the creative process.
Develop creative ideas based on criteria in the creative brief collaborating with team members & copywriters
Create layouts applying design principles such as color, typography, photographic selection, organizing elements and usability
Direct 1-2 Associate Art Directors/Designers to help develop creative to present to senior team/clients
Assist senior leadership in outline and content for the creative and make iterations as needed
Ensure quality and prepares deliverable for handoff to developers, printers, client, etc.
Develops a brands visual language (color palette, logo, font, etc) across a range of media (print, online marketing, Web site, packaging, etc) with the minimal oversight.
Hands on experience on latest Adobe creative suite. Photoshop is must
Must have worked on the responsive websites
Demonstrate an understanding of web technologies and a strong grasp of the tools knowledge of power point a plus
Business Knowledge: Domain experience would be a plus
Strong and innovative approach to problem solving and finding solutions
Excellent communicator (written and verbal, formal and informal)
Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution
Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to prioritize when under pressure
Qualifications:Graduate – Any Specialization
Experience:6 to 10 yrs.
