Responsibilities
During the project realization phase, he manages the Operations team (PrIM, PrSM, PrPM, PrSCL, PrCCM, PrTCM, PrVM) who is responsible for the success of the project.
In this frame he ensures that both the contractual technical definition of the project and the Platform Director’s instructions are strictly respected.
He takes all necessary decisions allowing cost reduction, in the absolute respect of the contractual schedule.
He ensures that the Project Manager (or Customer Director) provides to Operations the possible QCD variations orders corresponding to new customer requests on time.
Assist Project Manager to ensure that the commitments exist for every member of the project team.
Assist Project Manager to manage at Project level all Project Reviews and Gate Reviews, including
organisation and reporting.
Working level contact with customer, partners and Customer Directors during the project. Manage
the day-to-day relationship with partners.
On behalf of Operations, he personally follows the commissioning phase of the project with the Project Manager (or Customer Director), he evaluates the customer requests through the applicable contractual clauses, and implements the adjustments that strictly correspond to AT contractual responsibility. Any other modifications must be preceded by a written instruction from the Project Manager.
Manage all project reviews using the Work Package reports as a basis.
Ensure that all work packages are reviewed on a regular basis with the relevant Work Package
Owner to identify and resolve issues.
He prepares the MPR/CPR on behalf of Operations (costs, delivery schedule, quality, conformity to the contract).
He reports to both the Platform Director and the Project Manager.
Knowledge & Experience:
Engineering Graduate having Project Management Background with 8 yrs or more of experience in Railway industry
Good overall knowledge of Railway products and systems
Basic Planning knowledge
Good Communications and interpersonal skills
Conflict Management and multitasking
Customer Focus / Management skills
Financial & Costing knowledge
